Tests at Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir

We at Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir have five unit tests a year successed by an annual exam. The first and second ones are of 20 marks. The third one is of 30 marks. 4th one is again of 20 marks. 5th one is of 10 marks (oral). The annual is of 100 marks. The marks stated are of each subject.

    Hi everybody. I am an old student of SAVM (Batch 1999). Occasionallly, I visit this blog site, just to recapitulate old good days. I came accross a blog posted by somebody (who said that he is a student of Aurobindo Vidyamandir) under the heading "What a mismanagement-caused menace !!" Dear friend, I am not sure what in which grade you are. Whatever it is, be it you are an alumni or be it you are a student of SAVM, I felt pathetic when you were bad-mouthing your own school. Your grievance...i would call it "so-called" grievance is all against school magazines that are not published every year. My dear brother, before pointing out others fault, have you personally, yes I mean absolutely from an individualistic point of view, taken any step to deal with your own grievance. Did you try to convince your fellow class mates and your faculties about the need for a magazine to get published every year? I hope , NOT. Today you are bad-mouthing your school but after a long time, say 10-15 years, as we are, you will feel that you had had a chance to do some thing good for your institution, rather blaming the system....

    I don't know who it is who posted such a big comment in support of our school, I think If he has really respect for his scul, he would have stated his name... First of all, I would like to state that we are the present students of SAVM and I think, we know our scul at present than the past onesl. Still, as he has said, being the administrator of this blog, I would like him to be informed that every year the scul is changing.... It was not what it is now when I joined the school... Moreover, in presence of our respected Astt. Headmistress, I don't know whether anybody knows her or not, How can one think of taking some constructive attempt for the betterment of our school? Moreover, For information, I would also like to state that my classmates and our respected class teacher(s) have urged the authority concerned for the need of a scul magazine, but all in vain... Moreover, when it comes to the point of bad-mouthing, I would like to ask, "Is it wrong to let the world know the truth?"... If so, then I request "PLEASE DO NOT VISIT this blog" as I am not among the ones who want themselves to be favourite to the authority and thus not protest the wrong...
