Our anual exams are on the card... Due to some reasons, our annual sports got postpond... Our exams are going to be from the 3rd... This year, we are going to get very little time for the Saraswati Puja... So, hurry up friends...

In the meantime, two of our most respected teachers had taken retirement, sir Sengupta and Paromita miss... We today deeply feel how much they used to help us, inspite of their scoldings and all...

Our Summer Vacations...

From a long time, there was various words in various lips that our school has arranged an excursion for the students of class IX and X. But till last last Saturday, I could not believe what I was hearing. For, it was the first time in my whole school life that I was listening to such a thing. The chances of that turning real seemed very distant. But it was during the third period Saturday, that our hon'ble history teacher came to our class and leaving us all with surprise that the head of our institution has handed him over the charge of arranging such an excursion. He also added that the excursion will be before the 2nd unit exams which also added to the relief from the anxiety about the forthcoming exams... This was the first time for me. The very thought of going to a trip with friends and teachers was just thrilling. We have also been said that we would go to that trip only after the Summer Vacations... So, now we students of classes IX and X are waiting for the summer vacations to end and the school to reopen.

When we return, I will describe how the trip was and so keep visiting and enjoy the vacations...

Our annual exams ended this January and we are having a great time these days... though our school has started, we are still in holiday mood... We are having lots of holidays these days...Our first unit exams are going to be commencing from the first week of May... Most of our syllabus have been covered by our experienced faculty and so we are not at all in anxiety about our exams...

I, being a student of A.V.M. chandernagore is rather ashamed to let the whole world know that in my eight years of school, I have seen only two school magazines, whereas there are many schools, rather most schools, who has an annual school magazine. To be franc, I, rather most students, have a lot of grievances about this school, but they are such that we, ourselves, feel ashamed to reveal them in front of the world. I would like the authority concern to take necessary steps to seize this growing ordeal.

Wondering what it is ? Very simple. Our school has the 5th unit exams from about 21st December and within a very few days there is going to be the final exams. The final exams are going to be on 7th Jan.

We at Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir have five unit tests a year successed by an annual exam. The first and second ones are of 20 marks. The third one is of 30 marks. 4th one is again of 20 marks. 5th one is of 10 marks (oral). The annual is of 100 marks. The marks stated are of each subject.

Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir, Chandernagore is a "West-Bengal board of secondary education" affiliated English medium high school managed by the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation. Here we have well equipped labs for chemistry, physics, biology & computer. We also have excellent faculty who guide us throughout our syllabus. Here we have 5 unit tests and a final exam accompanied with surprise tests and class tests. We also celebrate an annual sports meet, an annual cultural meet accompanied with an annual Swarasati Puja. Our school is divided into two sections viz. Jr. section (for classes 1 to 4) and Sr. section (for classes 5 to 12).
